The Chrysler Pacifica is a popular minivan that has been on the US market since the 2017 model year, replacing the Town & Country in the Chrysler line-up. Prior to that, the Pacifica name was used for a short period from 2004 to 2008 for a different Chrysler crossover vehicle. The Pacifica is by far the best-selling Chrysler model, selling approximately 100,000 units yearly.

The Pacifica line-up was reduced in 2020 to carve off the lower level Pacifica L and LX models, which became the new Chrysler Voyager. For the 2021 model year, the Touring, Touring L and Limited Trim levels will remain, together with the new high-end Pinnacle trim. A hybrid option is also available in the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. All non-hybrid models have a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 gasoline engine with 9-speed automatic transmission.

Critics have given the Pacifica lower than average ratings for its reliability and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports many recalls and complaints regarding this minivan. 2017-2018 models are subject to the huge recall of 4.8 million vehicles by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles due to a defect in the cruise control system which prevents it from cancelling and can lead to unintentional movement or acceleration. Hybrid models have been recalled for a fire-prone battery, which can cause a fire in the vehicle whether on or off. Potential loss of power steering assist and stalling due to a loose battery connection has generated a recall of 2017-2019 models. Problems reported by owners range from the transmission disengaging while driving to the sliding doors not closing and paint bubbling on the hood.
