Chrysler is an American brand dating back to 1925 and currently housed within the FCA group (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles). Chrysler released only three models in its 2020 model year – the Chrysler 300 sedan, the Pacifica minivan, and the Voyager minivan. If industry rumors are true, the Chrysler 300 will be next on the chopping block.
Chrysler does not have a good reputation for quality or reliability. The brand ranked 19 for reliability in a 2020 Consumer Reports survey, which also ranked the Pacifica as one of the ten least reliable models of 2020. Just a year earlier, the Chrysler 300 plummeted in reliability ratings and completely lost its CR Recommendation. Chrysler owners are not happy either. In a recent American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI®) report, Chrysler ranked last amongst automobiles and light vehicles, with its second-worst satisfaction score ever. The increase in customer dissatisfaction may be related to the huge amount of recalled FCA vehicles, which have numbered in the millions in recent years.
