Rachel R. Felix (Diné) is a Senior Associate, and an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation. Rachel is a results-driven, solution-based attorney who helps navigate the complex layers of Tribal and federal laws.
She focuses her practice primarily in areas related to economic development, protecting Tribal resources, business transactions, intergovernmental agreements, gaming, employment, tribal government, code development, administrative law, regulations, permitting, legislation, public policy, land issues, animal welfare, Tribal enrollment, Indian child welfare, and litigation. Rachel has advised Tribal governments, Tribal-owned entities, Native-owned private businesses, and Native American individuals throughout Indian Country. She appears on behalf of clients in courts, administrative agencies, and other legal forums at the tribal, state, and local levels to work out solutions for legal issues, settling disputes, negotiations, and has experience resolving cases to clients’ satisfaction. Rachel enjoys problem-solving, developing legal strategies, navigating legal challenges, and producing practical results that help clients achieve their goals.
Rachel is a fierce advocate for Tribal interests, and she cares deeply about our clients’ success. She was born and raised in Dinétah, her homeland on the Navajo Nation.
