Are You Tired of Problems With Your Equinox?

For the last century, Chevrolet has been one of the most iconic names in the American automobile industry. The company was founded in Detroit, Michigan in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet, a racer, and William C. Durant, who was the founder of General Motors. Since its inception, the brand—which is part of General Motors—has grown into a giant. In fact, in 2020, two of the nation’s top selling vehicles were made by Chevrolet.

Is My Chevy Bolt a Fire Hazard?

Yes. It’s as simple as that. Because every single Chevrolet Bolt ever sold in the U.S. has been recalled because of the risk of a battery fire. That’s over 100,000 vehicles in the U.S. alone.

Is Your Chevy Dealer Blaming Throttle Lag on the Drive-By-Wire System?

Chevrolet is again facing complaints about delayed acceleration response or throttle lag, particularly from owners of Silverado and Malibu models. This complaint is not new to the Chevy brand. Growing Pains of the Audi e-tron Cause Frustration and Expense for New Owners

The e-tron Quattro concept was first revealed by Audi at the 2016 Frankfurt Auto show. It introduced a series of electric and hybrid cars from the German automaker in line with parent company Volkswagen’s commitment to electrify its entire line-up of cars by 2030. The first fully electric Audi did not hit the U.S. market until 2019 with the Audi e-tron. New for 2022, Audi is adding the smaller, more affordable, Audi Q4 e-tron compact SUV and Sportback to its e-tron line-up. Like many electric vehicles, or EVs, the e-tron has had a bumpy start in life, with the Audi e-tron problems starting from the moment the electric car was announced. Even the e-tron unveiling planned for August 2018 in Belgium was abruptly canceled following the arrest in Germany of CEO Rupert Stadler in connection with the Volkswagen diesel emissions scandal.

Can’t Get the Parts for Your Vehicle Repair? You May Be Protected By Lemon Laws.

The auto industry was one of the first to feel the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020. Even before the first cases were announced in the U.S., mandated closures and travel restrictions in other countries disrupted the supply chain of U.S. automakers. According to U.S. Department of Commerce statistics, imported auto parts totaled $155.8 billion in 2019, with the biggest suppliers to the U.S. auto industry being Mexico, Canada, and China. Virtually every automaker was affected.

Common Four Door Sedan Defects

Although automakers are currently producing a number of high-quality four door sedans, with millions of these vehicles on the road, defects are inevitable. Nonetheless, manufacturers have an obligation to ensure that the cars they provide to consumers are safe and reliable. They also must issue recalls when defects are detected internally or by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
